ALAN CARR 'Alanatomy' The Inside Story - Published by Michael Joseph on 6th Oct £20 hardback/eBook

'Well, as I turn forty and take stock of my showbiz life over the last ten years or so, I have learnt to embrace my flaws and face my shortcomings.  I am ready now to take a long hard look at myself and that’s what Alanatomy is. It’s the story of my rise to fame: the joys, the traumas, the parties, the disappointments. Hopefully you will find it witty, fun, heartwarming, but more importantly honest, and that it will keep you entertained every time you pick it up.

After the success of his previous autobiography the Sunday Times Bestseller Look Who It Is! which sold over half a million copies, Alan’s new memoir Alanatomy is set to be this autumn's must read.

Alan Carr is one of Britain’s most successful and much loved comedians, his unique humour and effortless stage presence on screen and on tour, make him part of the backbone of British Comedy.

PROGRAMME INFORMATION - 'JOSH' Series 2 BBC3

After a successful debut first series in 2015, Josh Widdicombe returns for a second series of 'Josh', a quirky comedy about the highs and lows of life as an anxious old man trapped in an anxious young man’s body.

Josh is back and he’s nerdier and more awkward than ever. And his hopelessly selfish flat-mates aren’t helping matters. Welsh charmer and football shirt aficionado, Owen (Elis James) is sabotaging Josh’s love-life – again – and disaster-prone Kate (Beattie Edmondson) is scoring more own-goals than Josh’s beloved Plymouth Argyle. Not to mention over-familiar landlord, Geoff (Jack Dee), who always seems to be popping round and getting in the way.

In the first episode of this new series, Josh is dumped by his girlfriend so Owen takes him on a double date with a couple of voracious cougars, Valerie and Karen.  Meanwhile, an email mix-up leads to Kate breaking Geoff's heart.

Expect plenty of exasperated grumbling, a glossary of nostalgic nineties references and a host of brilliant guest-star cameos throughout the series, including Tamzin Outhwaite (Eastenders, New Tricks), Jennifer Saunders (Absolutely Fabulous, French and Saunders, Comic Strip), Michael Ball (singer, theatre star and Radio 2 DJ), Emma Bunton (The Spice Girls), Miles Jupp (Rev) and Mike Wozniak (Man Down).

SEANN WALSH ‘ONE FOR THE ROAD’ ** BRAND NEW TOUR ANNOUNCED FOR AUTUMN 2016**

The Lie-in King returns with a brand new tour kicking off this autumn! Described by the Guardian as “unquestionably the best observational comic of his generation" Seann Walsh will be traveling the UK with over 60 dates of his highly anticipated show ‘One For The Road’

However disheveled he may be, the Foster's Comedy Award nominee is also one of the best comics in the country. With a keen observational mind, Seann can spot the absurdity in everything and convert it to perfectly delivered stand-up comedy.  You might have seen Seann on TV, but he’s something else live – pacing the stage, working the room and reducing crowds to hysterics. Even if he’d probably rather be at home watching Sky Sports News.
