ROB BECKETT ‘MOUTH OF THE SOUTH’ EXTRA DATES ANNOUNCED DUE TO DEMAND

After a massive 150 date sell-out run over the last 18 months, due to huge popular demand Rob Beckett is extending his ‘Mouth Of The South’ tour through to April 2017 with dates across the UK and Ireland, including one night at the Hammersmith Apollo in London on 1st April 2017. Tickets for all dates are on sale now!

Rob’s cheeky chappy persona saw him winning fans and starring on numerous TV shows. Rob was recently announced alongside Aisling Bea as the new team captain for Channel 4’s popular topical comedy panel show ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’, hosted by Jimmy Carr.  Each week Jimmy, Aisling and Rob will be joined by famous faces from the world of entertainment and showbiz, alongside plenty of exciting talent from the world of comedy, in a quest to uncover the nation’s most popular talking points. The brand new series launches on Tuesday 8th November, 10pm on More4.

BBC THREE SITCOM 'JOSH' COMMISSIONED FOR A THIRD SERIES

As the highly praised second series comes to an end tonight, it is announced today that BBC Three sitcom Josh has been commissioned for a third series by Shane Allen, Controller, BBC Comedy Commissioning, returning with six brand new episodes in 2017. 

Written by Josh Widdicombe, Tom Craine with Henry Paker and directed by David Schneider (I'm Alan Partridge and The Day Today), the quirky comedy follows the highs and lows of the eponymous Josh, an anxious old man trapped in an anxious young man’s body. 

Josh will once again be joined by the regular ensemble cast: his hopelessly selfish flatmates, Owen (Elis James) and Kate (Beattie Edmondson), plus the world's most annoying landlord, Geoff (Jack Dee).  Cameos throughout the two series have included; Jennifer Saunders, Michael Ball, Miles Jupp, Emma Bunton, Tamzin Outhwaite, Romesh Ranganathan, The Chuckle Brothers and James Acaster.

JON RICHARDSON 'The Old Man' Brand New UK TOUR For 2017

'JOSH' RETURNS TO BBC THREE FOR A 2ND SERIES THIS AUTUMN

 

After a successful debut first series in 2015, hugely popular stand-up Josh Widdicombe returns for a second series of Josh, a quirky comedy about the highs and lows of life as an anxious old man trapped in an anxious young man’s body.

Written by Josh Widdicombe and Tom Craine with Henry Paker and directed by David Schneider (I'm Alan Partridge and The Day Today), the 6 x 30 minute series will air on BBC Three this September (date to be confirmed).

Josh is back and he’s nerdier and more awkward than ever. And his hopelessly selfish flat-mates aren’t helping matters. Welsh charmer and football shirt aficionado, Owen (Elis James) is sabotaging Josh’s love-life – again – and disaster-prone Kate (Beattie Edmondson) is scoring more own-goals than Josh’s beloved Plymouth Argyle. Not to mention over-familiar landlord, Geoff (Jack Dee), who always seems to be popping round and getting in the way.

Following a hugely successful tour in autumn 2015 and spring 2016, including a sold-out run in London’s West End, South London’s finest Rob Beckett is bringing his hit show ‘Mouth Of The South’ to Hammersmith Apollo in London for one night only next spring!

Due to phenomenal demand, Beckett’s back with a new show of funnies and he’s taking on the big issues like Kit Kats and talcum powder! Don’t miss him at the Eventim Apollo on Saturday 1st April 2017.
